Timeline For Running For Office At All Levels

Sunday:
7:30 pm: City Nominations
7:30 pm: Nominations Papers for State Constitutional Offices are first available. You MAY NOT run for another office while you have a nomination paper for a State Constitutional Office.  Nomination papers are due by 10:00pm Monday.


Monday: 
9:15 am: City Elections- winners announced right away
10:30 am: Party Nominations and Elections (Campaign Manager and Party Chairman)- Winners announced right away
1:00 pm: Senate/Assembly Nominations
1:00 pm: County Nominations
4:30 pm: Senate/Assembly Elections- Winners announced as soon as they are verified 
9:30 pm: County Elections- Winners announced by breakfast the next morning
10:00 pm: Nomination Papers for State Constitutional Offices are due

Tuesday:
8:30 am: Candidates for State Constitutional Offices speak to their party (Supreme Court Justice and Superintendent of Public Instruction will speak to both parties)
4:00 pm: Primary election for State Constitutional Offices - Winners announced as soon as they are verified

Wednesday:
8:00 am: Winners of State Primary Elections for State Constitutional Offices speak and answer questions in front of all delegates
10:00 am: General election for State Constitutional Offices - Winners announced as soon as they are verified
